She uses Thinkgate’s reporting functionality to help make data driven modifications to her education practices, to help improve student learning. Lock ing Feature This key feature is available for educators at all levels. Locking an assessment column allows any combination of Classroom, District and State assessments to be compared on one screen. An “unlock” icon displays above each assessment abbreviation. Ms. Isaias can select the desired assessment(s) to lock. When selected, the icon changes to a “lock” icon and the data in the column is preserved. She can click the checkbox to hide or show unlocked columns. This allows Ms. Isaias to gather reporting on exactly the information she needs, before she even starts to process the report!

report allows her to see which groups of students are struggling with particular standards. This information can immediately inform the decisions she will make that day in instructing her class. Mastery Report Students by Standard Similar to the At-Risk Students by Standard report, the Mastery report for Students by Standard allows Ms. Isaias to review exactly which students have demonstrated a complete mastery of a standard. This informs her which students are prepared for enrichment, and she can modify her in-class instruction to match this information.

This information helps her better understand what her students are thinking as they may choices throughout an assessment.
