Program Industrial Automation F+E Impulse – mastering the digital revolution Convention Area 19/20, Hall New York 2 Monday, 24 April 2017, 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Investments are essential in order to facilitate advancements in technology, research and development. However, smaller corporations lament difficulties. It’s necessary to assert pressure to invest. Revitalizing programs are also a priority: favorable tax laws can set impulses to increase innovation as well as offer incentives, promote experiments and thus increase essential growth. You’re cordially invited to attend our midday talk session “F+E Impulse – mastering the digital revolution” as part of HANNOVER MESSE 2017. We look forward to exciting conversations during our business lunch.

Last Year's Hanover Fair has shown a clear signal: Integrated Industry has turned from vision to reality. However, to ensure that the factory of the future does not become a castle in the air, the concrete benefits for companies and their employees must become even more important. The Forum brings together more than 200 Chinese entrepreneurs and companies with a great interest in topics such as Smart Industry, Energy Efficiency, Industry 4.0, Efficient Manufacturing and Process Automation. Program Global Business & Markets Impulse New Markets - New Opportunities: Environmental Technologies in East Africa Registration / Program online LINK
Hall 3, Stand H31/9, Conference Room 1 Tuesday, 25 April 2017, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon
Within Sahara-Africa the countries in Eastern Africa, especially Kenya and Tanzania, exhibit high levels of political stability and high economic growth rates. The growing middle class and a labor market with highly motivated young university graduates are the basis for this economic upturn. Market chances for German environmental technology industry exist in the realm of tightening requirements for energy efficiency and rising electricity costs for an industry, which aspires to produce on Western standards. Advancing industrialization and growing populations require the upgrading of existing, oftentimes ailing infrastructure in provision, disposal and treatment of generally scarce water resources. German technologies and expertise is widely appraised and as such has the potential to be marketed well in East African markets, especially if they are adapted to local conditions.

Program Global Business & Markets Opportunities for Industrial Automation in Poland
Program online Registration LINK
Hall 3, Stand G31, Business Forum 2 Tuesday, 25 April 2017, 3:00 p.m. – 4:45 p.m.
As Germany's neighbor in Central Europe, Poland is the most important trading partner for many German companies. Machinery and equipment make up more than a quarter of the trade volume. Due to rising wages and an increasing shortage of qualified personnel, Polish companies need to further modernize their manufacturing. In order to highlight the current economic climate and business opportunities in this year's HANNOVER MESSE partner country, Germany Trade & Invest (GTAI) invites you to a panel discussion entitled "Opportunities for Industrial Automation in Poland". The focus of the discussion among representatives from administration and enterprise will center on practical aspects ranging from sales to production. Organizer

Asian countries have been eager to further develop their network of trade agreements. Latest examples include the bilateral negotiations between the EU and various ASEAN member states as well the RCEP initiative by the ASEAN Community. With TPP, a new generation of trade agreements was in reach: creating new mechanisms that govern cross-border economic activities with much higher standards than any existing bilateral, regional and multilateral trade agreements. Now that the US has announced its withdrawal from TPP, the key question is: • What are possible paths for Asia’s trade policies? • Which role can regional bodies like the ASEAN play? Organizer
