GAME NIGHT ENTERTAINMENT BANGO Mascot “Bango” has been entertaining Bucks fans for 37 years with his high-flying acrobatic dunks, daring stunts and funny antics. When Bango is not flipping around the BMO Harris Bradley Center he’s busy making over 250 appearances in the Milwaukee community every year. Bango is a former NBA mascot of the year and has the honor of being voted as the first “Most Awesome Mascot” by the Cartoon Network. Last season he was featured in an original documentary series on Hulu called “Behind the Mask.” Keep your eyes on Bango because you never know what he is going to do next. Bango was a phrase coined by Eddie Doucette, the original “Voice of the Bucks,” whenever a player connected on a long-range basket. When the club held a contest to name their new mascot, a few thousand entries were received, and the most popular by far was “Bango.” With the name in place, on October 18, 1977, Bango was born. That date signified the home opener of the 1977-78 season for the Bucks. The game pitted Milwaukee against the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar-led Los Angeles Lakers in the Milwaukee Arena. For more information on how to book Bango for your event, call the Game Entertainment Department at 414-227-0576.

AIR BANGO Air Bango is known for his inflated ego. Whether he is dancing center court, racing through obstacles or startling fans, he is always pumped up and ready to entertain.

BANGO JR. Since being introduced to Bucks fans in 2007, Bango Jr.’s role continues to grow as he tries to be just like dad. When it doesn’t interfere with school, he enjoys performing at the BMO Harris Bradley Center, capturing the hearts of the crowd. If you are lucky enough to catch a high five from this little guy be sure to watch out as there might be a few other little Bango’s learning the ropes behind him.
