Past High Priest of the Royal Arch Masons. The central image is of the Priestly Breastplate of Aaron as described in the Book of Exodus, with 12 different jewels, each representing one of the 12 Tribes of Israel. The top scroll has been made with the raised name of the recipient. Engraved on the reverse with a 1937 presentation date.

:Henry b. 1863 Austrian born Came over c. 1870, naturalized 1880 (1930 census) Master of Masonic Lodge in Charleston, SC “Valhalla Lodge” Traveled to Austria in Dec.1888/89 at age 24. Visa is here. He’s very small only 5’5” as shown on the right. Also his name is spelled odly, but it is HIS signature. This document is huge: around 16” tall!
