Skyward Help Gradebook Information

Skyward has access to every grade for every course that a student takes. You can modify how those grades are displayed as the school year progresses. Grades can be displayed by the grading period, by the semester, or by the year. GPA and class rank can also be displayed as well.

Grading Cycle Display Options In the picture below, on the first two grading cycles are displayed. If you want to add more, simply click on the “Display Options” button.

A screen will pop up that looks like this:

Simply choose the display option you want: “View All Terms,” Show Current Term Only,” or “Show Previous and Current Terms Only.” The cycles are labeled as follows:   

PR1 = Progress Report Cycle 1 CZ1 = Citizenship Grade Cycle 1 CY1 = Cycle 1 Grade

The number will change with the grading cycle. There are 6 grading cycles in the year. So, you’ll see Cycles 1-3 in the fall semester and 4-6 in the spring semester.

Class Rank and GPA To find class rank and GPA, simply click on the “GPA/Class Rank” tab.

You will get a pop up window that will display the information you’re looking for.
